The Heart Behind the Harvest: Our Story

Myrrh & Olive was not born in a laboratory; it was born from a life of unwavering faith, whispered prayers, and the strength of a woman who refused to be broken.

For over 25 years, I dedicated my heart to the classroom, molding the minds and souls of children, teaching them that they were capable of goodness and light. But my own journey was being tested in the fires of life.

In 2014, the world as I knew it changed forever when I lost my husband to cancer. In the shadow of that loss, I faced the deepest valley of depression. Yet, even in the silence of grief, God was there. I chose to fight—for my family, for my children, and for the strength to keep our home united. I learned that love is the most powerful force for healing, and I poured that love into everyone around me, regardless of the obstacles that rose against us.

Ten years later, in 2024, life tested me once more. A tornado lifted my car, spinning me through the air in a moment that felt like the end. But as the dust settled and I walked away without a single scratch, I received a divine confirmation: God was not finished with me yet. My purpose was still unfolding.

From the Storm to the Sanctuary

After years of pouring into others, I found a new passion in the quiet art of apothecary. I discovered that just as God heals the spirit, the earth provides elements to heal and nourish the body.

Myrrh & Olive is the result of that journey.

• Myrrh: Representing the endurance through suffering and the sacred anointing of the spirit.

• Olive: The symbol of peace, fruitfulness, and the oil of gladness after the mourning.

Every bar of soap we create is more than just a product; it is a testament to resilience. It is a piece of my heart, handcrafted with the same love I gave my students and the same faith that kept me safe inside that storm.
